Hopefully you have at least glanced at the last blog post and found the Athlete Interview doc. Maybe you are just not quite there about hiring a coach. Maybe a coach relationship is in the past. I understand, life changes, so much these days as we all know. Maybe you just don’t think you need a coach and can coach yourself or the path you are on is more fun and not a serious daily commitment. That is all great. Don’t take the coach path.
What I hope you did was learn a bit about what a coach would ask and require to adequately advise and make your relationship valuable to both of you. I hope the questions got you thinking about where you are in the journey, helped you understand what’s possible and what isn’t in your life right now. Maybe you are realizing that your path is more about fun and casual enjoyment. Then I think I have helped you in a small way.
Sometimes, we lose that particular internal fire. You might have had some changes, life is like that, family, employment, housing, injuries, found an exciting new path. There are relatively few of us who are professional athletes making a living from our sport so a coach is not needed.
Using that knowledge, maybe now you can adjust your life and feel guiltless and free to accomplish that next stage.
However, maybe you decided you are not done yet. Well, the next step might be investigating Training Platforms that can help up your games. Up next!
